A wick trimmer is an essential tool for getting the most out of your candle. Trimming the wick of your candle down to about 1/4 inch before every burn helps ensure your candle doesn't burn too hot, keeps the soot from burned wicks out of the wax, and the wax burns evenly, all resulting in the most potential burn time. For our 100% soy wax candles, that's more than 45 hours.
